My exhusband had a huge issue with this and I suspect he still has issues with it (in his third marriage). I have to coparent with him and my kid overshares the way he is and how his new wife is. I hope it actually lasts with them but it’s hard to say because she’s as much of a woman-child as he is a man-child. Perhaps they are well matched because of them both having the childish mental capacities they have? It’s too early to tell but I do know that having to always be the adult in the relationship will tire anyone out eventually.
