One of my big a-ha moments that showed me who he really was happened when I was able to really look in his eyes during a time when I was physically incapacitated. It was terrifying seeing how much he was obviously enjoying seeing me in such a state. This happened multiple times and I never wanted to believe that it was as bad as it was.
