A partial list of what my daughter’s father continues to tell on himself about
Last night, after an extra long day of work that I wasn’t supposed to work, I drove more than five hours round trip to meet my ex-husband. Our daughter was returning to where she continues to want to call home — our cozy apartment.
This most recent visit might have been the longest three days and nights that she’s had to experience yet. It fully confirmed for her that she cannot wait for the days until she will cut ties with her dad. She told me all of this not just in text messages (while she was there) but also on the trip up there and then back home.
It honestly breaks my heart because even with everything that’s happened for us to get here, I never in my worst nightmares would have imagines that I would have to “share” a child with a father like him.

It would be overly generous for me to call him a man-child at this point. One of the things he did to her just before she was ready to come home was so unexpected and gross that I still cannot believe he did it. Here it is…
