Not sure whether to laugh or cry right now.

Another of the fewer and fewer streams of passive income that have kept me afloat is about to be dried up. BUT. At least they are giving me warning, right? I mean, I’m not giving Youtube what they want.

Why should they give me (barely) pennies on the dollar for the monetization of creating original content for them.

While I wait for the (maybe) backhanded comments to roll in about how I should be *insert any unsolicited advice here*, consider the fact that this email? It’s the official word that I’m taking to know that my social and capitalistic experiment (of sorts) is now complete.

Having a monetized youtube channel with a niche market focus that was established over half a decade ago? Even when the channel was having significantly high engagement?

The monetary returns on it were always underwhelming. This is even when the channel was doing exceptionally well and the engagement was very very high.
