Ah yes… It’s Cuffing Season again
The syncing of chilly weather and “serious” relationships
It’s official.
Cuffing season is HERE and I’m already exhausted with it.
Within the last week and a half, I’ve had three men (of my dating past) try and reclaim exclusive space back in my life by popping back up on me via texts and other platforms of connecting. “Hey! How are YOU doing lately?”
This is all while I’m (maybe) continuing a relationship that I hoped would be serious and long term and has been able to prove that it really could happen.
One of the men has been (unsuccessfully) trying to convince me that he’s sorry and he was wrong to ever agree (with me) that we should end things as we did. This has been going on since the end of spring. He’s persistently tried to tell me he made a H U G E mistake and he wants me to try again with him. He says he wants a serious relationship with me — just like he said he told me when we first tried to make it work and we attempted to multiple times and there was a mutual agreement to end things.
Another one is someone I might have mentioned before but never talked about in major detail. He (basically) wants to be “friends with benefits” because he 1) isn’t looking for anything “serious” but at the same time he wants consistent loyalty and regularly…
